WildChina>WildChina>WildChina Founder Zhang Mei Speaks to Young Entrepreneurs

Over the past weekend,  Zhang Mei spoke to The Communication University of China’s MBA to share her  life experiences and entrepreneurial story.  In addition to speaking engagements in China, Mei also travels annually to Harvard Business School to present the WildChina case study as she feels strongly about supporting and mentoring young entrepreneurs.

During her recent talk, Mei highlighted the opportunities and challenges of the WildChina business model as well as imparted advice to young entrepreneurs.  She explained that there are three essential skills that are required to be a successful entrepreneur. The first is to have the “know-how to get through the first challenges, the second is to take risk and the third is to be a critical thinker.” Mei explained further, saying  “it is essential to tackle the tough questions in order to reach the next level of success.”

WildChina brought along some fantastic gifts to lucky winners, kindly donated with our friends over at Capital M.

For all of Zhang Mei’s paid speaking engagements, Mei donates to Teach for China, an organization very close to her heart.  Teach for China takes a unique approach to eliminating educational inequity by enlisting the US and China’s most promising future leaders in the effort.  In partnership with the global network Teach For All (www.teachforall.org), Teach For China recruits, selects, trains, and supports outstanding US and Chinese graduates to work side-by-side to deliver an excellent education in high poverty, rural Chinese communities.
