Join our highly anticipated conversation on education with Li Yinuo, founder of the website Slave Society, and former Head of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in China, and her colleague Sue Feng, Head of Marketing at ETU Education. Their book School Is A Little Bigger Than Home encompasses 105 letters from teachers to parents and is a culmination of ETU School’s educational philosophy. In discussing their book with us, they offer deeply insightful and fun ways to ensure the healthy development and education of children in an increasingly demanding world.

Li Yinuo is the former head of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in China. She started to work as one of the trustees for the 21st Century Education Research Institute in 2020 and also serves on the Academic Advisory Board for the Schwarzman Scholarship. Yinuo was also a nominee for the Rhodes Scholarship in China from 2015 – 2019. She was selected as a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader in 2016 and was named “Women of the Year” by Portrait Magazine.

Sue Feng

Sue Feng was one of ETU Education’s core founding team and is now head of ETU’s marketing and communications. Prior to joining ETU, Sue Feng was in charge of marketing and global communication at Nielsen China. Before beginning her career at Nielsen and ETU, she was a China-based English reporter and editor. For twelve years she worked for a variety of leading mainstream media outlets, including CCTV International (which is today’s CGTN), The Wall Street Journal, and Global Times.
