WildChina & Wendy Perrin Present:
Cash-Free Beijing with Fred He (Event #73)
Join us as we launch our new series, WildChina On The Ground. We’re missing in-person travel, so we’re aiming for the next best thing – virtual travel. Each month we’ll be heading live to a different part of China to bring our favorite experiences to you, wherever in the world you may be.

At WildChina, we believe in showing the real China, so for our first episode we’ll be heading away of the main tourist sites and highlighting local life in Beijing.
We’ll be following WildChina guide, Fred He, as he embarks on his morning commute to our Beijing office, equipped (as is normal in China) with only his phone. He’ll manage transport, buy breakfast, pay back an IOU to a friend, top up phone credit, and pass security clearance at our office building, with zero cash on-hand.
We hope this live hour will give you a peek in to the modern technology that is, for Beijingers, everyday life in the city.
