Professor Wang Jianxin graduated from Northwest University in Xi’an with a degree in archaeology from the Department of History and is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Cultural Heritage there. He is a part-time professor at the Centre for Chinese Archaeological Research at Peking University. He is also a member of the Council of the Chinese Archaeological Society and a visiting researcher at the Centre for the Study of Ancient Civilizations at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
