With a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management and a master’s in Martial Arts from the Beijing University of Physical Education (BUPE), Howard is an expert in Tai Chi.
Howard was named one of the “Outstanding Youths of the Century” by Macao TV for his influence in the field of Chinese Martial Arts, known as wushu. Howard’s contributions included publishing several articles about the development of new, systematic ways of teaching Tai Chi.
Since 2002, Howard has continued to innovate martial arts training by teaching wushu at The Beijing Center for Chinese Studies. Howard Hao is now also a key player in the joint effort to codify Chinese martial arts regulations in the hopes of allowing wushu to be entered in the Olympics.
